AI & Vibecoding Workshop

A day full of ideas, vibecoding, and great energy with the entire Content Gang Engineering team 🚀

Last week on 13th November, we finally managed to get all of Content Gang engineering into one room, literally. No calls, no Slack pings, just people, whiteboards, laptops, and a full day dedicated to learning, vibecoding, and exploring how AI can actually help us build better things.

🎯 The goal was simple

To spend a day together, strengthen relationships, learn from each other, and have fun with AI.

And I think we nailed it!

⭐ What We Did

We kicked off with a practical live demo from Dany, who showed how he uses Claude Code for real tasks, no artificial „textbook examples“, but genuine day-to-day engineering work:

  • simple tasks → plan → implementation
  • complex tasks → markdown plan → structured solution
  • architecture design → TODO breakdown → working code

That set the tone nicely. The room suddenly got that „oh wow, this is actually usable“ vibe.

We followed with a group discussion on agentic coding approaches.

Ideation → Voting → Mini Hackathon

After aligning, we collected many ideas. Once we voted, we split into four groups.

Each group spent the afternoon vibecoding, experimenting, breaking things, fixing things, and discovering what AI can (and can’t) do for us today.

We ended with team presentations and honestly, the results were super impressive for just a few hours of work!

🔍 Interesting Findings

A few reflections that came up across teams:

  • Vibecoding from scratch is surprisingly easy; agentic coding tools shine the most here.
  • Rewriting larger systems is slow and more hallucination-prone without strong human guidance.
  • Visibility and control during generation are absolutely essential.
  • Great documentation + clean data dramatically improve output quality.
  • Slack chatbot example: messages like „it has been fixed“ are basically meaningless for AI → we need better structured communication.
  • The group energy was fantastic, lots of collaboration, laughter, and „wait, this actually works“! moments.

📊 Feedback Summary

We also collected quick anonymous feedback:

  • ⭐ Enjoyment: 8.8/10
  • 🙌 Would join again: 100% yes
  • 💡 Most valuable: shared approaches, inspiration, seeing how others work, networking, discovering common challenges
  • 🔧 What to improve: infra blockers, missing „business value“ reflection at the end, lunch quality 😄, slightly shorter format
  • Overall vibe: super positive energy + clear signal that we should repeat this, ideally with better infra and clearer target outcomes.

✨ Final Thoughts

It was a powerful day! Full of sharing, learning, vibecoding, and just being together as humans, not avatars on a call. The workshop confirmed two things:

  • AI is becoming a practical engineering tool, not a gimmick.
  • When we work together in one room, great things happen.

Let’s iterate, focus more on outcomes next time and do this again soon!

Huge thanks to everyone who participated!
